I am recruiting for an interim Agresso 1st line support contractor for a maternity cover post. The successful applicant will be the first line of support for users of the Agresso finance system, resolving their queries and solving their problems.

Main responsibilities:

Carry out administrative tasks on the Agresso system including setting up users, amending user access, uploading purchase card transactions and updating guidance notes.

To carry out appropriate system enhancements, with assistance from other members of the Agresso Support team where necessary, to aid with the continual improvement of the Agresso system.

Duties and Responsibilities

Provide support to users of Agresso to resolve queries by speaking to them on the phone, in person or by responding to problems raised through the Service Now call logging system.

When appropriate, to work closely with staff in the Finance Office to test Agresso functionality following upgrades to software and also to understand and highlight areas that need improvement in order to help with system development.

To receive information and update materials on the Finance Office website, liaising with Finance staff and Web Development

To produce system documentation such as guidance notes, training materials and procedure notes or to update existing items where necessary.

To work with Agresso Support team members to review management information and reporting requirements in order to establish any new requirements and/or amendments to the existing setup.

Train users of the Agresso system in person on some of the functionality / operation.

Administer the Agresso Support team's work through activities such as booking meeting rooms, arranging training sessions, emailing notifications to users as required.

Process data amendment requests and update records including supplier records on Agresso as required.

Communication

Work as an active member of the Agresso Support team and the wider Finance Office.

Work with users of the Agresso system across campus to resolve problems. This could be in person, on the telephone, via email or via the Service Now call logging system.

Train users of the Agresso system

Liaison with members of the IT Services section and Web Development team.



Training

Attend appropriate personal development courses

Maintain and develop IT skills to allow efficient use of existing systems



Contract: 9-12 months

Location: East Midlands

Rate: Competitive
