Exciting SAP Sales Role - Progression - £50K base

A Global SAP B1 partner is looking for a Business Development Manager to head up their UK sales operation as they expand into the UK market. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a rapidly growing and well established company to build a brand.

This will be a greenfield role, building from scratch but with the backing of SAP recognised expertise and proven delivery team. You will be tasked with generating leads, booking appointments, building relationships and, most importantly, closing deals.

The ideal candidate will be a motivated, self starter with a track record in solution sales. Experience selling SAP software is a big plus but not a requirement. They have offices in London and would prefer someone who could be in there as much as possible but someone based elsewhere will also be considered.

They are looking to offer a base salary up to £50K with a generous commission structure. There will also be fantastic progression options and if successful, they will look to build the team around the successful applicant.

Role & Responsibilities

* Build relationships and awareness around the SAP UK ecosystem
* Generate opportunities, chase leads and close deals
* Build up the UK sales function from the group up with help from directors

Skills & Qualifications

* Proven track record of software sales experience in the UK
* Entrepreneurial, self starter who is comfortable working with autonomy
* Great relationship building skills, ability to gain rapport at SME level
