Basic qualifications
Qualifications for the ideal candidate include:
4 to 6 years of procurement experience in a high-velocity manufacturing environment
Must have a 4-year degree or equivalent experience
Must have Epicor experience
Excellent MS Office suite skills
Responsibilities
1.Develop and execute strategic sourcing initiatives, best practices, and strategies that align with company strategy ensuring effective implementation and execution
2.Ensure focus on overall globally sourced commodities with an understanding and accountability of the results needed to meet overall business objectives
3. Support enterprise initiatives by developing sourcing strategies ensuring migration into existing supply chain with minimum interruption and maximum cost reduction
4.Lead efforts in supplier performance improvement based on scorecards and internal metrics
5.Ensure continuous improvement initiatives including On-Time Delivery (OTD), Quality, Cost, lead time reduction, and multi-vendor sourcing.
6.Works in conjunction with Engineering and QC departments to establish tolerances and manage vendor nonconformance program
7.Manage team members as applicable in the creation & execution of action plans as required to successfully qualify new supplier solutions and ensure successful manufacturing transitions
8.Lead all facets of sourcing process to support Product Development, total supply chain, and product manufacturing phases
9.Reach out to site tactical supply chain teams and NPI supply chain teams to ensure coordination & collaboration for successful implementation of sourcing strategies & initiatives
10.Lead the negotiation of select long term agreements to maximize value from supply base
11.Lead large scale Bill of Materials (BOM) and program cost savings
12.Develop strategic relationships with targeted suppliers
13.Review and ensure that the appropriate financial metrics are monitored and that proper financial controls are in place
14.Lead performance improvement using overall leadership experience
15.Additional tasks and duties as assigned
