Ladies and Gentlemen,
Washington Frank is looking for an external SAP Testmanager, for a client in Düsseldorf who can provide prompt support in the project.
Project description:
The client's program consists of a conversion project (pre-study) and a migration project (lift&shift).
Conversion: The client is conducting a pre-study for the ECC 6.0 EhP 8 system. The pre-study is intended to provide information on how the S/4HANA system conversion can best be implemented. For this purpose, four mock conversions will be carried out in a sandbox environment. The aim is to make a statement about the general, technical feasibility of the project. The results of the four mock conversions will be summarized in a cookbook. Furthermore, a decision paper will be prepared for the client. It is not the aim of the pre-study to prepare for a prompt productive conversion.
Migration: SAP 70 systems (15 SAP system environments) will be migrated from Oracle to HANA DB with conversions (lift&shift)
Scope of Task - The external contractor takes on the following tasks within the project, which are carried out independently:
- Define testing strategy for the productive conversion project and the migration (lift&shift) project
- Define the relevant test plans for the different environments to be migrated and/or converted under Exhibit 2 and Exhibit 4 of this Order Form. The content and scope of the tests will be defined by the customer.
- Check which tests steps are required to be integrated into the cutover plans to verify the availability of a resource (generally without a dedicated script and capture of results in a testing tool) will not be considered as test cycles per se, but the consultant may be requested to consult on these checks.
- During the realize phase, manage the creation of appropriate test plans as identified in the test strategy, aligning these with the customer and manage the execution of the test cycles.
- Track and report on the status of running test cycles.
- Following completion of tests.
- Report the outcome of the test cycles to project stakeholders.
- Provide an assessment of the readiness to proceed to the next phase.
The execution of the tests will be performed by client if not agreed otherwise (e. g. cutover checks) and documented as agreed in the test strategy.
Checks performed in the context of cutover tasks will be reported back to the cutover status tracking.
General conditions
Start: ASAP
Occupancy: 50% per week
Duration: 302 working days
Location: 50-70% onsite in Düsseldorf; 30-50% remote
