IT PMO - senior role
Role & Responsibilities
* Establish and lead the global Corporate IT PMO discipline and organisation for the upcoming group-wide transformation programs e.g. S/4HANA ERP transformation
* Define program/ project rules (standards, plan/milestones and results) and develop templates and tools that facilitate the implementation of projects
* Design, implement and report balanced scorecards/ dashboards on portfolio, projects, vendors and financials
* Ensure program management governance, conduct regular reviews for key projects and track progress according to key program measurements
* Manage/Coordinate the entire global IT portfolio in close alignment with the Divisions
* Define and deploy process improvements to increase efficiency and effectiveness for project planning, delivery, and management to enable program objectives
* Regularly review and evaluate opportunities to improve project management capabilities and achieve higher levels of maturity and impact
* Align with cross-divisional PMO team and proactively address risk to ensure quality, delivery, and performance
* Coordinate project progress from planning and conception to the test and go-live phase in close cooperation with project management
* Prepare, facilitate, document and follow up meetings of the ERP TranS/4mation office
* Enable the Portfolio/Program/Project teams to develop justification proposals, use cases, and return on investment estimates to acquire executive approval and funding.
* Mentoring and guiding junior PMOs in their new role
Skills & Qualifications
* Expertise in developing and leading global IT PMO processes and tool adoption (ServiceNow preferred)
* Demonstrated expertise in leading and building new operating models, leading change across the enterprise of talent, processes and technologies
* Demonstrated ability in leading agile across enterprises, proficient in talent, tools, governance models, project/financial planning and reporting required for execution
* Planning and budgeting for the whole organisation, portfolio management with different methods
* Strong business acumen and industrial background as well as strategic thinking skills to facilitate decision-making process at C-level
* Result-oriented mindset with a successful track record of leading complex projects to business results
* Analytical and structured thinking ability, balanced with attention to detail to successfully plan and oversee complex and large-scale projects/programs
* Experience in building IT balanced scorecards, measurements, and operational reporting
* Proven change management, partner management, and communications experience with experience leading large multi-functional projects.
* Experience in people-management is a plus
* Fluent in English, any other European language is a plus
* Several years of practical experience as PMO in complex s projects
* Sound understanding of IT project management standards & methodologies such as ITIL, PRINCE, SCRUM, SAFe, SAP Activate, etc.
* Experience in working with external consultans, ideally in the area of SAP
