Job Description
Our client is a highly renowned retail company with an impressive track record and stable team. They are now seeking a Business Data Analyst to join their collaborative team in Hong Kong to further create business opportunities through effective use of data. The role would encompass data management and business analysis in its day-to-day duties.
Roles & Responsibilities:
* Perform duties from back end to front end, including but not limited to data management - cleansing & mapping, user requirements collection, reporting standization and etc
* Create new and maintain existing dashboards for reporting, and well as support report automation
* Participate in various data analysis tasks and project implementation tasks
* Identify areas of improvements and provide suggestions according to the current state of the business
* Ensure that all perspectives & dependencies are considered in system developments and implementation
* Facilitate communication between IT and different departments among the group
* Analyze change requirements, facilitate approval and implementation of those changes
* Deliver artifacts like functional specification, user case, test case, procedure manuals etc
* Provide support to user training when necessary
Requirements:
* Higher Diploma or Degree holder of Information Technology, Business Administration or related disciplines
* At least 2 years in Business Analyst, Data Analyst or related role
* Hands-on experience in Microsoft SQL and PowerBI; Profound knowledge in Python or Robotic Automation would be a definite advantage
* Experience in data analysis and project management
* Details oriented and strong analytical skills, well organized and able to manage multiple responsibilities
* Good English communication & writing skills
