As the MIS Manager, you'll play a pivotal role in ensuring that all business software applications are running smoothly, securely, and efficiently. You'll be the go-to person for optimising the software systems that keep the business running, and you'll work closely with teams across the company to ensure technology supports strategic goals. This is a dynamic, leadership role where you'll have the opportunity to drive continuous improvement in both technology and team performance.

Key Responsibilities:

Leadership & Team Development

Lead and inspire a high-performing team of experts and analysts, providing mentorship, feedback, and opportunities for growth.
Foster a collaborative, innovative culture where communication flows seamlessly across departments.
Manage team performance and guide them to ensure software systems are optimally supported and aligned with business needs.
Software Management & Optimisation

Oversee the day-to-day management of all business software applications (ERP, CRM, WMS, and more).
Ensure that software updates, upgrades, and renewals happen smoothly with minimal disruption.
Maintain licensing compliance and keep track of vendor contracts and service agreements.
Driving Business Efficiency

Work with business units to identify and implement software solutions that streamline operations and enhance performance.
Use feedback and software performance data to proactively suggest improvements and new features.
Vendor & Supplier Relations

Build strong relationships with software vendors to ensure excellent service, value, and compliance with agreements.
Lead contract negotiations and ensure SLAs are consistently met.
Collaboration & Integration

Collaborate with IT and other departments to ensure software systems are integrated seamlessly with infrastructure.
Ensure all data is secure, consistent, and accessible for key decision-making.
Data Security & Integrity

Oversee and enforce security policies across all business software to protect company data.
Ensure compliance with data protection regulations (e.g., GDPR) and work closely with IT to implement robust security measures.
Training & End-User Support

Lead the deployment of software across different business areas, collaborating with project teams to ensure smooth rollouts.
Organise training sessions to ensure all employees are comfortable using the software.
Provide ongoing support for troubleshooting and guiding users through any issues.
Reporting & Analytics

Develop insightful reports and dashboards to provide business leaders with the data they need to make informed decisions.
Work with other departments to define KPIs and ensure software systems meet business objectives.
Innovation & Research

Stay ahead of the curve by researching new technologies and trends that could improve software systems.
Evaluate and implement new features or upgrades that will benefit the business.
Qualifications:

Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
Experience: Minimum of 5 years in managing software systems, including ERP, CRM, and WMS.
Skills:
Deep knowledge of software systems and experience with vendor management.
Strong leadership and communication skills to guide teams and engage with non-technical stakeholders.
Proficiency in project management and organising complex tasks.
Expertise in data security, backup solutions, and regulatory compliance.
Strong analytical mindset and the ability to solve problems creatively.
Experience working with large-scale systems and databases.
Ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
