Assistant Systems Manager (Finance Systems)

Job Description
Our Client is one of the leading player in its industry and provides a stable yet dynamic working environment to its employees. They are currently looking for an Assistant Systems Manager under the Finance department to act as a liaison between IT and Finance. The person shall drive process improvement initiatives across finance team hence a strong understanding of finance processes or ERP implementation would be highly preferred.
Roles and Responsibilities:
* Report directly to the Director of Finance, proactively analyze existing finance processes and identify areas for improvement, streamlining and automation.
* Work closely with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, involve in system design, and implement process improvements in SAP Business One.
* Collaborate with IT and external vendors to troubleshoot system issues, perform system upgrades, and implement system enhancements.
* Develop and maintain documentation, including process maps, user guides, and training materials to support the finance team in adopting new processes and systems.
* Conduct training sessions and provide ongoing support to end-users to ensure successful adoption of new systems and processes.
* Assist with ad-hoc financial analysis, reporting, and projects as needed.
Requirements:
* Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Technology or a related field.
* Experience in finance system implementation, sound knowledge and experience in SAP B1 or other ERP would be a big plus.
* Ability to deal with finance users and understand their needs.
* Excellent communication and presentation skills. Good command in both written and spoken English.
* Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and as part of a team.
* Non-HK local will also be considered.
