Job Description
This position is responsible for overall support and optimisation of all finance and accounting related processes implemented throughout Lincoln Electric's Automation businesses using Epicor's Financial Management module. This involves continuous collaboration with the global Automation Finance team and an extended group of internal (and possibly external) stakeholders to identify, prioritise and implement process enhancements, and to readily address and resolve production support issues as they arise.
Role & Responsibilities
* Provide primary oversight for Epicor's Financial Management module, from solution definition and specification, to implementation to production support and optimisation.
* Serve as primary business analyst for Epicor's finance and accounting processes to identify ways to continuously improve them through the application of Epicor capabilities and associated technologies, striving for operational efficiency and effectiveness.
* Translate business requirements into functional requirements and document these in functional specifications to facilitate Epicor enhancements.
* Manage internal and external relationships with key partners and stakeholders including Automation site Finance staff, local leadership, Corporate Finance, consulting partners, and Corporate IT.
* For larger initiatives, develop project plans including project scope, approach, Epicor architecture, task list, staffing requirements, and then execute according to plan.
* Assist with defining testing procedures to be conducted when validating new system enhancements/changes.
* Ensure all system changes are clearly documented and tracked within Corporate IT's SIR tracking database.
Skills & Qualifications
* 2+ year's experience/ 4+ year's experience with the Epicor ERP system, either as an end-user or in a consultative capacity, with in-depth knowledge of the Financial Management module
* Bachelor's or Associate's degree, preferably in Finance, Information Technology, Engineering, or related business/technical field.
* Preferred minimum of 1 year of experience serving as business process functional analyst.
* Working knowledge of best practices as related to performing financial functions in Epicor ERP in a manufacturing environment, preferably in an Engineer-to-Order business context.
* Highly motivated, goal oriented team player with strong oral and written communication skills.
* Demonstrated ability to effectively interact with, train, and collaborate with business users and functional experts, IT and technical resources to ensure the IT needs of the business are being met
* Analytical expertise to identify and resolve problems by recommending and implementing creative solutions.
