This role will be involved in the enhancement, development, and integration of business systems supporting regional operations.     Key Responsibilities

    Support the enhancement and redevelopment of internal application systems, from initial scoping through to production deployment

    Role Overview

    A well-established client of mine is seeking an HRIS Business Analyst to support the implementation and optimization of HR technology platforms. Sitting within the IT team, this role will act as a key bridge between HR stakeholders, technical teams, and system vendors to ensure a smooth transition from legacy HR systems to a modern HR platform.

    The position will focus heavily on HR data migration, payroll-related processes, system testing, and vendor coordination, ensuring business requirements are accurately reflected in system configuration and integrations.

    Key Responsibilities

    HR System Implementation & Coordination

    *

    Support the implementation of a new HR system by coordinating activities between internal teams, HR users, IT teams, and external vendors.

    Track project deliverables, follow-ups, and issue resolution to ensure implementation milestones are met.

    Act as a central point of contact to facilitate communication across business and technical stakeholders.

    Business Process & Data Analysis

    *

    Review and document key HR processes from the existing HCM platform including employee lifecycle processes such as onboarding, transfers, terminations, leave management, time tracking, and payroll-related data elements.

    Analyze how these processes and data structures should be translated or improved within the new HR system.

    Ensure accurate documentation of business workflows, system logic, and data definitions.

    Data Migration & Validation

    *

    Assist in preparing and cleansing HR data prior to migration activities.

    Review and validate data mapping templates between legacy and new systems.
    *

    Perform validation checks to confirm successful data migration and ensure accuracy of employee records.

    Testing & System Validation

    *

    Support planning and coordination of system testing cycles, including UAT, payroll testing, and integration testing.

    Work closely with HR and payroll users to execute testing scenarios and confirm system functionality.

    Track, document, and follow up on defects with vendors and technical teams to ensure timely resolution.

    Integration & Payroll Support

    *

    Validate that integrations with related systems such as payroll, finance, and access control systems operate correctly from an end-user perspective.

    Assist in testing complex payroll scenarios to ensure compliance, accuracy, and system reliability.

    Deployment & Go-Live Preparation

    *

    Collaborate with IT and vendors on cutover planning, including blackout periods, parallel payroll runs, and go-live readiness.

    Support early post-implementation activities such as first payroll processing and issue monitoring.

    Reporting & Stakeholder Communication

    *

    Prepare clear project updates, meeting summaries, and status reports for project leadership and stakeholders.

    Provide insights and recommendations based on system testing results, data validation, and user feedback.

    Requirements

    *

    Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Human Resources, Business Administration, or related discipline.
    *

    Minimum 3 years of experience working with HRIS or HR technology systems such as Kingdee, Yonyou, BIPO.
    *

    Familiarity with HR processes and payroll environments.
    *

    Experience supporting end-to-end HR system implementation, data migration, or integration projects is highly desirable.

    Comfortable working with both technical teams and non-technical stakeholders, including third-party vendors.
