Role Overview:
A global organization is seeking a dynamic IT Manager (Enterprise Application Projects) to lead a portfolio of enterprise system upgrades and application enhancement initiatives. This role combines operational oversight with strategic project delivery, supporting the continuous evolution of business-critical platforms. The ideal candidate brings a balance of technical leadership, business acumen, and experience working across regions and vendor landscapes.
Key Responsibilities:
Technology & Operations Leadership
*
Oversee day-to-day operations of enterprise applications, ensuring reliability, compliance, and alignment with SLAs.
*
Manage team and be responsible for systems support, enhancements, and troubleshooting.
*
Establish IT procedures, service protocols, and user support frameworks to drive operational excellence.
*
Act as the escalation point for application performance issues and coordinate timely resolution.
Program & Project Management
*
Deliver high-impact IT initiatives, including platform upgrades, system integrations, and process automation.
*
Manage cross-functional project timelines, budgets, and stakeholder communications across internal and third-party teams.
*
Drive project governance, risk management, and implementation strategies using structured methodologies.
*
Coordinate with product owners and external providers to ensure fit-for-purpose application delivery.
Application Strategy & Innovation
*
Assess legacy systems and recommend modernization strategies aligned with business goals.
*
Partner with business leaders to identify IT opportunities that enable productivity, agility, and scalability.
*
Remain current on emerging technologies and translate insights into actionable roadmaps.
Global Collaboration & Resource Management
*
Collaborate with global IT counterparts to ensure unified support and solution consistency.
*
Manage remote and on-site resources including technical teams, vendors, and consultants.
*
Support organizational readiness by aligning processes and capabilities with evolving business needs.
*
Promote knowledge sharing, documentation, and continuous improvement practices.
Candidate Profile:
*
8 years of progressive IT experience
*
Solid background supporting or implementing enterprise business applications (Bamboo Rose), with upgrade and transformation exposure.
*
Experience in consumer goods, sourcing, or supply chain environments preferred.
*
Strong track record managing complex IT projects across geographically dispersed teams.
*
Practical understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC), testing practices, and support models.
*
Proficiency with both Agile and traditional delivery frameworks.
*
Demonstrated ability to lead and mentor teams, both onshore and offshore.
*
Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
*
Detail-oriented, organized, and comfortable handling multiple workstreams simultaneously.
*
Familiarity with ERP systems and modern collaboration or workflow tools is advantageous.
