Senior SAP Application Consultant - Logistics

About the role
An international organisation is seeking an experienced Senior SAP Application Consultant to join its Digital Applications team in Norway. This is an excellent opportunity to play a key role in supporting, maintaining and developing business-critical SAP solutions within a complex enterprise environment.
Working closely with business stakeholders, technical teams and external partners, you will take ownership of core SAP logistics processes, translating business requirements into effective system solutions while driving continuous improvements across the SAP landscape.
Key Responsibilities

Gather, analyse and document business requirements, translating them into functional SAP solutions.
*
Configure, maintain and enhance SAP applications in collaboration with internal development teams and external vendors.
*
Participate in SAP implementation projects, system enhancements, upgrades and rollout activities.
*
Provide third-line application support, troubleshoot complex issues and coordinate system improvements.
*
Produce and maintain both technical and functional documentation while promoting SAP best practices.
*
Support system testing, user acceptance testing (UAT) and end-user training.
Logistics Responsibilities
Working primarily within SAP Logistics, your responsibilities will include:

Optimising and enhancing business processes across procurement, sales, inventory management, warehousing, distribution and wider supply chain operations.
*
Supporting and developing SAP SD and/or SAP MM solutions.
*
Ensuring effective integration between SAP and surrounding business systems, including warehouse management, transportation, planning and other third-party applications.
*
Collaborating with operational and business teams to improve end-to-end logistics processes and drive operational efficiency.
About You
We're looking for someone who has:

At least five years' experience as an SAP Consultant, SAP Application Specialist or SAP Functional Consultant within a logistics or supply chain environment.
*
Strong functional knowledge of SAP SD, SAP MM or related SAP Logistics modules.
*
Experience working with SAP S/4HANA and/or SAP ECC environments.
*
A solid understanding of logistics, supply chain and operational business processes.
*
Experience with SAP integrations and connected enterprise applications.
*
Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively across both business and technical teams.
*
Fluency in English. Knowledge of a Scandinavian language would be beneficial but is not essential.
