Group Finance Manager - Sage X3 - London (Hybrid) - c£70k

Washington Frank is working with a highly regarded international services business operating across the UK. The organisation supports premium, high-value clients and is known for precision, discretion, and operational excellence.

You will lead group reporting, manage a cross-border finance team, and drive improvements to systems and processes, particularly around Sage X3. Working closely with senior leadership, you'll ensure financial clarity, drive ongoing system enhancements, and seamless coordination between UK and European entities.

Your Role & Responsibilities:

* Leading month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close across the group.
* Managing preparation and coordination of year-end audits.
* Overseeing and developing a small finance team across locations.
* Driving continuous improvement of finance processes and internal controls.
* Leading implementation, optimisation, and day-to-day use of Sage X3.

Key Experience & Skills:

* Minimum 5 years experience in a finance or accounting role.
* Proven experience managing or mentoring a finance team.
* Strong hands-on experience with Sage X3, including system or process implementation.
* Background in a multi-entity or international finance environment.
* Professional qualification (ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent) preferred but not essential
* You will, on occasion, be going to a French office, so fluency in French is a big plus.

They are seeking an experienced Sage X3 Consultant to deliver the successful implementation of Sage X3 software for finance, distribution, and manufacturing across their client base.

This is a hands-on, client-facing role that offers clear opportunities for career progression within an established Sage X3 consultancy. You'll work on a range of implementations across different industries, build deeper expertise across finance, distribution, and manufacturing, and develop your skills alongside experienced consultants with structured support and knowledge sharing.

Your Role & Responsibilities:

* Lead and support the implementation of Sage X3 solutions across finance, distribution, and manufacturing modules
* Gather, document, and translate client business requirements into effective Sage X3 configurations
* Configure, test, and deploy Sage X3 systems, including support through UAT, training, and go-live
* Work collaboratively with internal functional, technical, and support teams to deliver successful client outcomes
* Provide post-implementation support, knowledge transfer, and continuous improvement recommendations

Key Skills:

* Hands-on experience implementing Sage X3 modules, including Financial, Distribution, and Manufacturing, at client sites
* Translate business processes into system configurations, including bespoke solutions
* Lead pre-go-live testing, training, and data migration
* Familiar with SQL Server, Windows networks, and ERP integrations
* Strong client-facing, problem-solving, and workshop facilitation skills
